    A dirty job, but someone's got to do it!

    You need to go back for a 3rd run and capture the test on both video and audio. Not for science this time, but for your loyal readers.

    decibel levels in the real world are meaningless without readings of the ambient/background noise

    Decibel readings don't tell the whole story, yes, but they are definitely not meaningless.
