    reminds me a lot of my first track day. i don't have tpms in my 06 mustang (started in 07 IIRC) but tire pressure was a big concern of mine. didn't know what to set them at. also, i was surprised how physically draining it was. i think not just the physical aspect of the g-forces but also the mental stress of driving that fast takes its toll. i remember inhaling some food during the mid-day break. last, the best time to go out is at the end of the day. the last couple of hours there are only a handful of people out on the track due to vehicle and driver fatigue!

    Good read. I like the use of 550 as your number too! I really need to work a track day into my schedule, it's been way too long.
