Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? Intake valve control solenoid (code P0028). Subaru Legacy.
Check light is on and the code is P0028. Is it easy to access this solenoid and its circuit? Suggested issue is:
Intake valve control solenoid circuit range performance bank 2
1. Open or short circuit condition
2. Poor electrical connection
3. Faulty solenoid
However, I'm not even sure where this thing is to at least check connections. Check engine light sometimes goes away, so I wonder if it's just a dirty connection.
thanks for any advice.
