I just bought a 2000 ford Taurus for $600. The guy I got it from told me it sat for 3 years and hasn't been cranked the whole time. I changed the oil, flushed the coolant, and put a new battery in it. The gas needle said there was a 1/4 of a tank of gas in it. I put another 1/4 of a tank in it just to check if the needle was accurate. I tried to start it, it turned over for around 10 secs then it shut off. I tried again to crank it, it sounds like it wants to. I let it sit for a day and tried it again. the same outcome. I pulled a spark plug out and held it next to the engine and there was a spark. I was told most likely it was a fuel problem then. Can anyone point me in a direction or tell me how to do anything for a fuel problem? I don't really know much about cars. Please help
