Suzuki Sidekick doors freeze shut

I can't open the doors when it gets below freezing. The doors freeze up! I've had to replace some interior door opening mechanisms when a friend tried to use his 'manly' muscle; but since then, I've learned that I just have to 1.) wait for it to warm up., or 2.) if I can manage to get a door open, and can start the car, I can turn on the heater and wait for it to thaw the doors, or 3.) if I'm in a hurry, and have managed to get a door open, I can drive while holding the door closed (the latch is frozen) with the heater on full blast, and wait for the latch to un-freeze so it will latch again! All four doors and the swing gate door in back have the same affliction. Is there anything I can do to resolve the problem, other than move way south? I do have access to a garage, but when I drive to work, and it sits out all day, in below freezing temps, that's a problem.
