Pontiac Grand Am Stalls when stopped at lights etc.

My Pontiac Grand Am 2000 stalls at lights and sometimes when turning. What could my problem be?

Sometimes a fuel pump will go out all at once. Vehicle won't start even with full tank of gas. But I've experienced pumps that showed gradual decrease in pressure. Check gas cap and replace if needed, they can lose their sealing ability, and also fill tank up full. If vehicle still stalls when stopped or turning I'd then change the fuel filter. If stalling improves with full tank then I'd bet it's the pump.
