2003 GMC Savana van won't move

I had a new transmission installed at aamco about a year ago.

Yesterday morning, I tried to shift into gear, and the van didn't move in any gear.

any ideas what's wrong, and how much the repair will be.

    Bummer. Simplest explanation is you are low on transmission fluid. Read the oweners manual and check fluid level. Be sure to add correct fluid for your vehicle. There are several different types.

    I bet that's it.

    thank you, but i already took it to aamco, and it turned out i had a broken parking pawl.
