Headlights need adjusting. 2014 GMC Sierra 1500.

My 2014 Sierra 1500 came from the factory with the headlights aimed a little high, was getting blasted by on coming cars quite often. Took it in to the dealership to get them adjusted, that was a mistake. Had a 120 mile trip home with headlights pointing at the ground had a terrible time seeing. Can anyone give me the correct instructions for aiming them. The adjusting screws are easy to get at and just a phillips head. Have read several methods on internet but would like the correct one. Thanks
