How to change a transmission fluid and filter on a '97 VW Golf Automatic.

i was very surprised after the fact that my VW golf has no stick for checking the transmission fluid under the hood. any suggestions , pictures, technics how to add more fluid into the automatic transmission ?

Changing transmission fluid is a filthy, messy job that, seriously is better left to a pro. Find a dealer or indy shop that has a good reputation and just take it there.
