Hi everyone

Hope I can get some answers here.
So here is the problem I'm having with my Ford expedition, 2005, mileage 134,000: the car is jerking while I accelerate... sometime even with minimal acceleration or going uphill.
What are the reasons for a car that drives so well for years to suddenly start jerking.
I'm worried that I can get into an accident while I have my kids in the car with me thus I need to fix this problem ASAP and I wanted to be informed before taking it to a mechanic
Any information is greatly appreciated :)

I have a 2007 Expedition and mine was doing the same thing. I replaced the spark plugs and it is now running like a champ.

Only way is to use a good mid level "Scanner" to trap the fault or have the coils stress tested by a dealer to find any with low output.
