My Suzuki XL-7 won't switch from cold to hot. Any suggestions or ideas?

The air conditioner works fine. Auxillary heat works fine. Heat won't switch from cold to hot in the front of the car. What would cause this?

I Think the XL-7 uses cables to control the position of the heat/cold door.

Put your feet on the headliner and your head under the dashboard, and see if you can find where the cable connects from the heat control on the dash to the blend door...could be the cable accidentally got disconnected.
