Following on the heels on Apple CarPlay is the Android Auto interface, which promises a previously unseen level of integration between your car and your Android smartphone for navigation, music and messaging apps. Google developers demonstrated Android Auto's features in a 2015 Hyundai Sonata at the 2014 L.A. Auto Show, but neither Hyundai nor Google has committed to a release date.
