Massachusetts Resident buying car in California having shipped to MA Registration question

Massachusetts Resident buying car in California having shipped to MA. When I have bought cars in different states in the past the dealer gave me a temporary registration and when the car arrived in Massachusetts I went to the DMV to register the car. Does California offer the same temporary registration for out of state buyers? Thanks you for the help and direction.
