Olds Alero cooling fans not working !!!again!!!

hi greetings from ''rainy'' los angeles ca my daughter's alero is doing it again cooling fans not working and the car is getting hot replaced radiator, temp sensor' bled the cooling system and the fans no turning on' not even with the ac on' so i disconnect the temp sensor and both fans work' i read the computer in this cars go bad and they don't send information to the sensor to activate the cooling fans and anybody knows if the oxygen sensors and cooling fans are connected in any way? the reason i ask is because i modified the rear oxygen sensor to clear a code any info to solve this problems would be greatly appreciated thanks
