What did you pay for your 2015 Mazda 3 S Touring/GT?

I just made a deal with a NY dealership for a 3 S Grand Touring sedan Manual.

Only option was wheel locks ($55) included in the window sticker which is fine. I did not want any options. I also asked that they throw in all-weather mats (for free, $100 value), and they agreed.

Sticker price on window: $25,895
Invoice according to Edmunds is: $24,781

The price we negotiaged is $23,925 + tax (+ $75 dealer doc/admin fee + DMV registration & new plates, and $10 for NYS inspection).

That 's almost $2K off sticker and ~$850 below Invoice. What do you guys think? Could I have done better? From talking to the sales people and the GM, the dealers are getting a "secret" $750 incentive for Mazda 3's, and I am not talking about the loyalty incentive, etc. This is not listed on Edmunds or anywhere else. That is how they are able to sell the cars below Invoice.

So I just got back from test driving it (9 mi. on the odo) and I am picking it up on Monday. I have not paid anything for it yet.
Just a handshake and a piece of paper saying how much my payments would be after my down payment, and the breakdown with the tax, registration, inspection and $12 tire/battery disposal fee (another BS mandatory NY state fee).

I know in North Jersey they can match or beat this price a little bit, by a couple of bucks, but most Jersey Dealers charge $299-$399 for the dealer admin/doc fee which is outrageous. In NY the maximum is $75 by state law (NY did something right), so that helps reduce the out-the-door price considerably.

They get a 2% holdback. I think they also get $750 from Mazda Financing, if you finance (min $7,500) Tax here is 9.5%, which sucks. But ultimately, I was able to get it for 12.5% off the asking. I know you should negotiate from invoice, but I am satisfied with my purchase. Looks like the same deal, about $2,000 off sticker. Should help people that come here looking.
