2004 Ford Freestar - How do you remove/replace rear climate control in back seat overhead?

2004 Ford Freestar. The rear climate control in the back seat overhead is clicking and buzzing loudly, and the unit itself clicks and seems to change randomly from heat to cool - even when the fan is off and the front controls show the "rear" is off. I suspect a short in the rear overhead climate control unit, but don't know how to get it out to check, or replace if needed. Please provide specific instructions (pictures/drawings very helpful/necessary, or link to video). Any other suggestions greatly welcome. Thanks.
