Help! Electrical issue/ headlights - S-10 pickup.

please help. i have a 99-2000 s10 . headlights running lights dashlights turn themselves on w/o key on or in ign. have checked fuses- and DRL system. light switch has been benchtested ok. wiring diagram in shop manual does not match colors of wires in truck. pleases help... cant afford to miss anymore work because of this
