Advice needed. Has anyone used a parking reminder solution before? to avoid parking fines.

Hi guys,
Recently I find it more and more annoying that I get parking ticket from time to time. Sometimes it is simply because I forget to get back and remove my car in good time. No matter it is payment area or time limited area.....
So I start to look into solutions, [non-permissible content removed]

I use the alarm feature that comes with the phone or sometimes I like the free COL reminder app.
but again any reminder will do it, if you set it up properly,
