Front suspenson squeak over bumps?

I own a 2006 Hyundai Sonata LX 3.3 ltr. with 26400 miles at present. When ever I go over a bump I am hearing a squeak coming from the right front area of my car. The noise sounds like a old rusting bed spring being jumped upon.
I am sure that it is a suspension issue. I had a 2000 Hyundai Sonata v6 and I had the same issue with it as well, I know it was a suspension problem but I never did find out what exactly which part was causing the noise...it was one of the reasons I sold the car. Has anyone else had this issue and if so which component was the cause of the noise. I am apprehensive to just go to my local Hyundai dealer, I have heard stories of part after part being replaced and the problem is or has not been resolved, I can not afford that kind of approach to resolve this issue with my car.

  • did the car wobble? if it did, It could be missing hydraulic liquid or oil in the shocks or simply some part of the suspension was loose and rusty. I did experience it on some other korean car, don't remember the brand. I think the struts were missing or broken off in that case.
