Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? Transmission - Car Will Not Move in Reverse/Forward

Hi everyone!

The car was making a clicking noise while driving, so 1 month ago I replaced the transfer case (junkyard) for my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS 3.5L 4x4 AWD Automatic. This fixed the noise, and the car was driving fine until yesterday. After work, I tried to go in reverse outside of the parking lot, and the car would move very slowly, then not at all, and I didn't want to force it. Same story when putting it on "drive."

Notes:
  • The fluid levels appear to be adequate.
  • The transmission was shifting perfectly when the car was running.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
