2007 Dodge Caliber idle is affected by increased electrical load

I have a 2007 Dodge Caliber, approx 108,000 miles. 2.0L I4. When the vehicle is idling in drive (More noticeably when the engine is cold) idle drops significantly (almost to stall RPM) when any electric load is applied. (headlamps, activating power windows, wipers, etc). The overall acceleration performance is fine and the idle is stead when the vehicle is in park. My first thought is a faulty (or contaminated) throttle body being a drive-by-wire setup. Has anyone else encountered this? If so, I'm curious as to the resolution.

I might be thinking your aging battery/charging system may be having trouble coping with higher electical load demands
