Hey Guys,
I have 2000 buick lesabre with about 8600k miles I had a hard knocking noise coming from the engine side , so I took it to the mechanic, and he said one of the engine mounts was broken, since the engine moves back and forth with braking, so replaced it, but the noise didn't go, so I took it back to him, and turned out the left lower control arm, so he replaced both of them, and the noise was gone,Immediately Ever since transmission is never as it used to be.
Now the transmission need harder push on the gas to accelerate, and it sounds like an airplane lowering it s gear getting ready for landing, and it gets stuck on the third gear till I push harder on the gas, and I noticed that I need higher rpms to accelerate, and sometimes to maintain the speed. Before this repair, never had an issue with transmission, the car is really in mint condition, I am the second owner, and taking good care of it.....Any suggestions or hints on what happened or what maybe the cause? suggestions for the fix..I take it it's not DYI project.

Thanks
