Automatic transmission problems, Dodge Ram 1500.

my 2001 4x4 4 speed o/d trans doesnt like to shift out of 1 st gear untill you let off the gas! then it shifts fine after that. doesnt slip at all ,but when drivin down the road and nail it , it doesnt slip but like gos into neutral RPM gos sky high! let off the gas and everything is fine?????

    if i dont let off the gas it will shift on its own, but at a high RPM! please HELP!!
