Adding Safety Package - 2LT? - Equinox

The website makes it look like the 2LT can add the Safety Package for $590 but I'm guessing it needs to be factory installed and that a certain percentage of them would have this "optional" equipment. I'm interested in a 2LT+590 for safety package but a quick inventory search makes me think you can only really get it if go with top of the line LTZ.

Has anyone out here bought a 2LT with the Optional Safety Package?

    Actually, I find the 2LT with 590 for safety package but only with other stuff I wouldn't want to pay for, like another grand for "power convenience package" and often MyLink for another 500.
