Weird Issue Mp3 cd in car audio - can anyone suggest

I have burned a number of data disc with mp3 files - the problem I have is it plays sometimes fine but a number of time I am having error saying error 1. Not sure if the cd wouldn't have recognised the file it shouldn't have played the songs at all but it plays sometime and sometime doesn't. I have to eject the disc and put it back a number of times and then only it displays DISC CHECK and then plays songs - I am really frustuated. Surprisingly, there is an old mp3 disc that doesn't have any problem and plays anytime - god knows whats happening - plz help
