I have a 1999 GMC Jimmy 4.3L. Originally was brought to me because it was dying while driving and would have trouble restarting back up. We replaced spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, crankshaft position sensor, fuel pump and filter, ignition coil, and air filter. This made the vehicle run a lot better and is no longer stalling while in gear but when idling in park it will randomly die. When it dies there are no lights, codes, or warning, its just like you bumped the key, engine dies but the radio and lights will stay on. What else can we try to keep this vehicle running?
