I have a Chevy venture van that over heated on me and now when I try to start it, it makes a load noise and won't turn over I'm stumped. Any help where to start thanks

Take out all spark plugs and see if there's coolant in a cylinder hydrolocking it since it won't rotate the engine.
I assume the loud noise is the starter straining to turn it and the engine won't move.

With plug out, you may find it turns over. Then you have to find the source of the coolant?
