Hey, my 2012 Nissan Altima positive battery cable is broken, i.e. physically broken into two pieces due to corrosion. However, when I firmly attached it to the battery terminals the car started great. I took it to the shop and and they checked and suggested me to replace the WHOLE positive battery cable because for my model the cable comes in a whole piece and they needed $600+ to replace it, e.g. there is a fuse box on the tip of the cable. However, what I wanted to do is just to replace the broken clamp on the tip that is next to the fuse box yet it is welded on the fuse box. Therefore, is there any metal adhesive that I can use to glue the broken pieces together ? please give me some instruction on this if you can, I am an newbie. Thank you very much.
