At 6-4 with a medium torso, headroom is the killer for me these days. The sharply sloping rear windows in cars that don't even claim to be a "4 -door coupe" means that my head touches the glass is a very large number of cars, even ones that are bigger than the A3. I am not often a rear seat passenger, so this doesn't come up much, but if max rear seat comfort was important to me, I would be buying a CUV of some sort, one of the few remaining wagons, or a 4-door hatch like the Golf.
