Using BP gas in Hondas

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on if BP gas should not be used with Honda's. I'm looking into buying an accord and I've heard that at least in earlier years running BP was hard on the car.

Not using BP gas? That's a new one to me. BP is a "Top Tier" gasoline, I have used it myself in my 04 Accord.
