I really don't mind BMW i3 looks, they are quirky and different, but the whole premise of the car is pretty radical, and the looks are consistent with the purpose. The Nissan and Infiniti design language is just terrible, though, very conventional cars made to look pretty hideous for no other purpose than to not look like their competition. I can appreciate a good car that doesn't look exceptionally handsome, looks are kind of superficial. But this thing, and most of the Nissan and Infiniti product lines, are just meh vehicles with bleh looks. They are the exception to my rule of not getting too hung up about looks.

Why would anyone choose this over a Murano, which has more room, same adventurous styling, and likely costs less? Sorry, but I sense this will be another major fail for Infiniti.

Looks better than the GLA, for whatever that's worth.

dfelix, it's doubtful that this vehicle will be prices at or above Murano levels; I've read that it is more entry-level. Even so, there are those of us where price=larger size are the selling points. I owned the present-generation Murano and it was too big and too clumsy for me. This model with its Juke-based architecture could provide the sporty, fun and compact size that I'm looking for - with features that would normally be found in larger models only. I think it will be a winner for them...especially when gas prices head up again.

The Infiniti QX30 Concept crossover love looks sharp and sleek. [non-permissible content removed]

Not bad, but I'm not sure how competitive it will be, considering that small luxury crossovers don't seem to be selling that well in general. I think most people would rather spend the same amount of money and get a larger, better equipped SUV, even if it isn't from a luxury make.

Hopefully this will not have the dreaded Nissan CVT. Looks good though
