My 2008 Mariner constantly indicates 50 degrees for the external temp. What is the fix to make it report accurately. The reset switches in the dash and the owners manual are of no help. Thanks.

A guess would be issue with temp sensor, perhaps bad or bad connection. Next question would be where is it located , maybe next to radiator and perhaps simply un-plugging and plugging back in might make it work if a little corroded.
