Cadillac SRX Loss of Acceleration Problem And Past Recalls

I just bought 2004 used SRX last week from a local owner. I noticed that rear shocks may have gone bad due to the bumpy ride and noise I get when I drive it. Today, I started losing acceleration, soon afterward, the check engine light came on. The rear left brake/signal light had been out for a few days now! I am very disappointed. I expected better from the GM brand. It seemed I am not the only one having these problems, reading through this forum.
How do I find out if there are recalls on this vehicle that perhaps had not been fixed and that can still be covered? It has about 128400 miles.

    Kind of sounds like maintence may have been lacking before you bought it. Anyway for any outstanding recalls for your particular vehicle you could register it at my.cadillac.com (owner center) and it should have a place to check.

    On Friday while driving on interstate cruise control on TC light came on stayed on then message came on trans hot idle engine what does this mean?
