    Agreed. One quibble: I don't see why they couldn't have raised it up to armrest level. There are 3-series cars with manual parking brakes, armrests and iDrive. They should have just done the same arrangement here, and slimmed things, if needed.

    The LED can be completely turned off, if you must, but we owners seem to like it.
