3k miles late for the oil & filter change. Not good.

That's okay - a too frequent oil change will give the resident thread-crappers something to gripe about. :p

Hey - you're right. 10k service was done in Oregon.

Mike Schmidt, aren't you the person there at Edmunds who is supposed to be bird-dogging stuff like this? To make sure scheduled service and periodic maintenance is not missed or duplicated?

Glenn Thomas Jeep did a number on my Wrangler. It went in for the non recall replacement of the defective cylinder head that lots of them are plagued with. Edmund's one had a failure too. Anyway, after they replaced the cylinder head it developed a really bad oil leak from the right cylinder head. Seems the technician first off loosened the right head before realizing it was the left head he was meant to replace. And then forgot to torque the right head back down.
So, back to the shop to get that taken care of. Got it back. Coolant leak. Took it back. Got if back, now it has a harmonic buzz in the dash (against the firewall?) that occurs as I accelerate. They apparently can't hear it.
The service manager was very polite and apologetic, shame the tech that worked on my truck seemed to be out to lunch the entire time.
