    Both of these cars can be built la-carte so there's no reason to compare two similar cars that couldn't have been packaged further apart! A proper comparison would have been the 328Xi with the luxury package. As compared here, I'd still pick the BMW. Save the red interior on a blue car (wth???), it's better looking and will give allot more smiles per gallon than this C-class.

    I didn't see much difference in interior style between the two cars. In fact I often couldn't tell which was which in the video. On the outside, I like the Benz's exterior better than the BMW's. I guess I still can't swallow the gran coupe styling. But none of this would be as important to me as a shopper as the driving experience. "The feel of the wheel will seal the deal!"

    I test drove these exact cars and they both drove almost identical. The opinion that the 428i GC is more dynamic a driver than the C300 is false, IMO. And I also question the acceleration numbers since I felt the C300 was easily equal to the 428i's get-up times. Both were easily better than the IS350 that I test drove as well. I will say that I do love the GC's styling a bit better than the C, but I would choose the C over a comparable 328i. My choice to take home would be the C because that interior is absolutely exquisite for a car in this, or any, price class. I actually like it better than the S-Class's interior.

    I totally wanted the C to win as I am as of late, more MB fan than BMW, but the look of the Estoril blue paint and the shape of the BMW sways me to some degree. I'd have to test drive them myself before making the call.

    I prefer MB. Last years they went ahead of all competitors and made cars, which are now showing how the cars should be built. BMW is one generation in the back, they need to do a lot of work to catch up.

    I prefer the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. It looks sporty and luxurious at the same time.

    what do you find luxurious in bmws? especially in the central panel in the interior? comparing to mb?
