Our 2015 Hyundai Sonata comes with the optional 8-inch screen and navigation system. Overall, the screen works very well but it's too far away for my tastes.

I must say that the "A BMW saved my son's life" article that is only obscurely marked on the article as sponsored is rather disgusting. Call it out big time or don't expect me to respect your product anymore. Plus, the car just didn't have very much damage. Spartanburg officials yesterday charged a man with DUI for driving the wrong way on I-85 and striking a tractor-trailer. He was transported to a hospital in Greenville, but was expected to be OK. Anderson County records show the 2013 Hyundai he was driving to be a Sonata, which is why I chose this post to put this on, but fact is lots of cars save lots of people in severe crashes these days and if BMW thinks theirs are special, they should buy a regular ad for it and make it clear that it IS an ad. And Edmunds' standards should require all such ads be clearly an ad.

Completely agreed. I don't come to this site to read mediocre writing from a BMW loyalist who claims that her 3 series is the best car she's ever owned, even though she's only had it for 5,000 miles, which is hardly enough time to determine how truly great a car is (i.e. it gives virtually no indication of reliability).

how's the BlueLink app and does the remote start function work?

The android app is functional. The app is free but Bluelink is not. Much of the app is close to useless, but the remote lock/unlock, ignition start/stop. etc work pretty well, plus you get an email confirmation. Note that remote start inexplicably turns on the flashers and leaves the car on for only 10 minutes. Not long enough on a cold day in MN . And iirc you have to signup for the useless base package in order to signup of the remote capabilities (~$200 year total).
