    IIHS rated the Escape and since 2013 Ford has failed to address the "Poor" rating of the small overlap crash test. Other small SUVs originally receiving "poor" or "marginal" ratings have made the necessary changes. Now they all got "good" ratings. These improved cars are: Buick Encore, Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, Toyota RAV-4. Why is Ford so ignorant in this issue?
