Stalling while slowing down and idling. Help!

So here it goes .. our car started stalling one day at a red light but started right back up a couple weeks ago . Since that she does it every time we either idle or have to slow down to either turn or bc the car in front is slow. We have to throw it in neutral and feather the gas to keep her on. A few days ago the engine power deminished. You push the gas but she doesn't seem to want to speed up. Can't even pass a car if we needed too. So we brought it to be looked at since there's no lights coming on line check engine. So they did whatever and told us there's no codes coming up either but we need a battery. So we had them do that yesterday. Seemed alot better last night no stalling and power was back . Now my husband drove her to work this morning and she stalled. So we're kind of at a loss here and don't know what direction to go in now. Why would the changed battery have her running good then 12hrs later she starts stalling again ? Any ideas? Oh I dint know if this helps in anyway but it's a 2005 nissan altima 2.5 4 cylinder.

It was just happening to my 2006 Altima 2.5 at 72,000. stalling and then dead when I stopped, luckily I got it started and drove straight to the dealership-they replaced a crankshaft sensor. But it stalled again a week later- they checked the starter and the alternator and said it's working- so why is it stalling?
