Transmission stalls in reverse under slight gas, also in drive.

2002 ram 2500 extended cab 25.9 l gas auto 4x4 had problem cold would stall could drive with 2 feet keep it from stalling pulled trans went thru it found nothing but a 2/3 accumulator spring broken . replaced all selonoids
same condition and it now will not stall in reverse till slight gas put in to it as throttle pressure builds
going forward with slight throttle pressure shifts fine if i increase throttle pressure shifts 1-2 then locks up convertor with no signal from ecm when i come to stop will stall i dropped valve body i air checked trans all seems good replaced valve body same condition

    Check your transmission cooler for a restriction. We usually end up eliminating the factory cooler and installing an external unit.

    i have 2 coolers radiator and a external do you think the restrictor could be clogged causing this ?

    It's been known to happen.

    http://www.atra.com/ If its not being commanded on, then it is falsely hydraulically applying. You might have a bad valve body and need it repaired/rebuilt.
