My wife has a 4 door Cooper and while I agree the steering is accurate, compared to my old '03 Cooper the current car's steering feels somewhat numb. No question the new car is much more refined and clearly a better all around car, but the first gen (BMW) Minis handled brilliantly with great steering feel, nice clutch action and a sweet shifter.
