One thing I'm interested for you guys to comment on is the idle/stop. I've heard it is fairly intrusive and is very annoying.
Is it as bad as the CRZ? I drove one of those and every time I stopped at a red light it would shut the engine and AC off and then it would quickly heat up inside the car so a couple seconds later it would start both back up and blast warm air then cool air on me. Over and over again at every stop. With no way to shut it off.
consumer reports recommended the honda accord over the tlx; if awd was not a must. they seemed to consider acura as merely a higher trim level to honda. they also noted that the tlx was much quieter.

Haven't driven the V6 TLX, but I've heard that it is rather annoying. Also head that the idle/stop is the default setting and must be turned off every time.
I have a 2013 TSX SE and am glad to hear that this new car is quiet and comfortable. While I really like my car, the two biggest complaints that I have is interior road noise and it's very unsettled ride characteristics. My lease is up in just under a year, so I'll be curious to see how this new TLX drives.
