I have a 2003 Ford Windstar SEL and I have water and white smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe.

    Is it overheating? Lots of white smoke after it is properly warmed up may be a blown headgasket

    That is when it started doing after it had overheated earlier, I have changed the thermostat, but it started up and water came out of the tailpipe, and now it's puffing a little white puffs of smoke

    Not good, I would not drive it anywhere beyond dealership/ independant place to have it looked at
