It's amazing how much stuff babies and toddlers travel with. My now 14 year old just needs his phone a a couple of books. Yes, thankfully he loves to read, actual books!

When my wife & I were looking to downsize our car, the prerequisite was that it had to fit our stroller. Fortunately we had recently gotten a Baby Jogger City Mini 4, which folds pretty flat...and yes, it does fit in the bottom well of the Fiat 500L hatch section (even with a subwoofer in there), leaving the upper shelf available for cargo.

That Maxi Cosi is pretty luxe, but the Baby Jogger cleans up all right. :P Biggest difference is that the seat is much lower to the ground in the Baby Jogger.
