A welcome makeover. Didn't like the current gen Civic series.

I currently own a 2007 Civic Coupe Ex 5 speed which I am selling because I have a newer Audi A5 in the garage. The Audi is a sporty car. The Civic is one of the best cars, sports or otherwise I have ever owned. From what I see of the announcement, there's a good chance I'll sell the Audi in a few years to buy another Honda Civic Coupe. The new Honda will be slightly larger but hopefully maintain its agility. And it should have the full set of new safety features which must quickly become standard. That includes automatic braking and lane guidance.

There are still a few of us diehards that actually prefer manual transmissions. Its all season handling we care about, not raw power. 6th speed should be reserved for cruising, with RPMs in the quiet zone below 3K at 70 mph. All season tires should be narrow enough to handle snow and rain. In fact, evaluations should be based on all season handling, not just dry weather. Its time to drop the navigation software.
