Our long-term 2015 Hyundai Sonata performed only a mix of city miles and short commutes during March. Lifetime average fuel economy remains the same, but we're still not hitting the EPA estimate.

    Try driving the speed limit. My son's 11 Sonata 2.4 easily hits 35 mpg on the highway. No hypermiling required.

    My 2011 2.4L Sonata averages 32mpg on pure highway trips. Normal actual mileage is 26mpg combined.
