I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT 3.9 V6 2WD Automatic with 142,xxx miles. It recently started to "die" and shut off often when letting off the gas pedal quickly at low speeds, or stopping at a stop sign/light. It dies It does not want to accelerate and tries to bog out and lag when taking off more often than not now. It will not up-shift past 4th gear, so it only uses gear 1-4. It idles fine for the first minute when cold, but soon after 60sec is bogs down to 100-300rpm and tries to die. Any knowledge of this situation or advice would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a fuel issue, perhaps the fuel filter, fuel pump, something is clogged, but I'm mostly experienced in older cars
