    My daughter is driving a 2008 Chev. Cobalt and the gas pedal has stuck open twice now. The latest time, she was at 85 mph when she got it unstuck by just stomping the brake several times. Each time it happened she said the floor mat was not under the gas pedal. She called a garage was told that she would be charged $70 just to "take a look." This is so frightening. It is the only car she has to drive. After doing some research, I can not find that there was ever a recall for this problem. Any ideas?
