Back when my grandma bought her 2007 A4 Cabrio, we also looked at the last-gen 3 series (first year for the folding hardtop) and the MB CLKs. The salesman parked the BMW with the roof down while we went inside and got some more info on the car. Despite it being a hot and sunny summer day, the leather still felt relatively cool about 20 minutes later. I'd be interested to see how the LT M235i does in similar conditions. The 3 series had beige leather, which probably helped, but I'd imagine that BMW has also improved this technology since it was first introduced, so I'd assume the red seats would still fare pretty well.

Just picked up my 2015 Mustang Ecoboost convertible yesterday with cooled seats and its da bomb. They are quite strong even in the lowest of three settings. This was a feature I knew I needed to have in a convertible. Its always good not to suffer on a scorching hot day.
