Just bought engine from wreck yard

I have the timing mark set correctly uptop but on the bottom when i put on the timing cover it is way off to the right, how do i make sure someone didint spin the top or bottom without the belt on so the engine is not synchronized. My car is a camry ce 2000 and the engine i got is a 1999 solara
